  • Large pan or pot

Ingredients

  • 300g parboiled, long grain brown Rice

  • Boiling Water

Instructions

To wash your rice


1. Place 300g of rice (75g per person) into a sieve and rinse well in cold running water.

To cook your rice


2. Add rice to a large pan of boiling water, and return to the boil. Make sure there is enough water to cover the rice.

3. Stir once, and reduce heat to low.

4. Cover and simmer for 30-35 minutes, or until rice is tender.

To serve your rice


5. Drain in a sieve, rinse with boiling water and serve.
